Rant on Technology and Luddites
With the advent of cell phones, the Internet, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, communication, knowledge and power are no longer centralized and oligarchic as they once were. They are now diffused and democratic, which is something the old guard can’t stand. This is why we have RIAA and MPAA lawsuits as well as the industry buying off congressmen to pass laws to criminalize file sharing.
